 “Between Innocence and Wisdom”

Mom  :  At school,

There are three types of friends you must avoid at all cost, okay ?

Kid   :   Which ones, mom ?

Mom :  First, Those who lie frequently.

              for example, they say....

"I've already studied" when it is not true. Or "don't worry, the teacher will never                      notice". These kind of people make you lose trust .... and can drag you into doing                  the wrong things. Over time, by spending so much time with them, you might                        adopt their bad habits without even realizing it.

Kid    :  Oh, okay mom.

Mom  :  Second, those who constantly compare themselves and show off......
for example "your phone is is so old..... mine is the latest model. Or "Do you really                think you can be as good as me ?". These kind of people make you fell                                      uncomfortable, pressure you, and push you to constantly seek other's approval.                     "True friendship is never based on superiority."

Kid    :    Okay mom.

Mom  : Third, those who only talk to you when they need something from you. When they                need help with homework, they smile and act kind but the rest of time, they                          complete ignore you. Friendship is not manipulation. If someone only comes to                    you when it's convenient for them it's better to walk away.

Kid     :  Mom what if I already have friends like that?

Mom  : Then it's not too late to choose better.

Kid     : Okay, mom.

" A real friend never lies to you, never shows off, and
never uses you. So choose your friend wisely. share
this with your son or daughter. A small lesson that
can shape a big part of their life."

                                                                                                                               TejaJanni

Simple Conversation where information is traded.

[Between Mom & Kid]

           Hello Sweetheart,

Today I want to tell you something Important. Okay Mom.

Mom  :  At home, always stay away from hot stoves, boiling water and electric                               switches.

Mom :  And if you're alone never open the door for someone you don't know.

Kid     :  Even if they keep knocking ?

Mom :  Yes, and if you ever feel unsure..... Call me or Dad immediately.

Mom :  When we go outside safety come first.

Mom :  Before crossing the road always look both ways carefully.

Mom : Stay close to the responsible adult.

Mom : And whenever you ride your bicycle, your helmet goes on first.

Kid    : Means, helmet first always.

Mom : There's one more place we need to be careful.... Online. Never share your                       name, school address or phone number on the internet. And don't talk to                       strangers their either.

Kid    : What if a game asks for my details ?

Mom : That's when you stop and ask me before clicking anything.

Kid    : Mom, does being careful mean I should be scared ?

Mom : No, My dear. Being careful means you're smart. It means  you're strong                         enough to protect yourself .

Kid   : Okay Mom.

Vonitimmita - KODANDARAMA TEMPLE

We went  to one of the Devotional places of lord Rama's KODANDARAMA TEMPLE in Vontimitta. The temple was built in the 16th century by the Chola and Vijayanagara Kings. It is located in the town of Vontimitta in the Kadapa district, about 25 kilometers from Kadapa and close to Rajampet. The temple has intricate carvings on its walls and pillars, a large sculptured Mandapam, and an inner chamber and sanctum. It's the largest temple in the region and is a centrally protected monument of national importance.

IMPORTACE OF THE TEMPLE History:
It is known that when Rama was a child, Vishwamitra took him for his yagna. But even after Sitarama Kalyanam, one such occasion arose. Then Sage Mrikandu and Sringi Sage prayed to Rama for the punishment of evil, the legend says that Swami along with Sita and Lakshmana came to this place holding Ambula podi, Pidaba, Kodandam and performed the sacrifice. It is the belief of the people here that those sages carved the idols of Sita, Rama and Lakshmana on a single stone, and later Jambavanta consecrated these idols. In this temple there is a shrine of Sri Rama. It is said that on Sita's wish, Lord Rama raised the Patala Ganga with Rama's arrow.
The idols of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana are carved into the same stone of the main idol in this temple. This is the only Ram temple in India that does not have a Hanuman idol next to the idol of Rama among the main idols in the temples. It is said that an idol of Sitaramalakshman was established in Ontimitta before the union of Sri Ram with Swami Hanuma.

ATTRACTIONS:
Imambeg Well is one of the attractions of Ontimitta Ram Temple. The gopuram construction is outstanding in the Chola sculptural tradition. The French traveler Travernier visited this temple in the 16th century and praised it as "one of the largest domes in India". Potana, the author of the Andhra Mahabhagavatam, claimed to be a resident of Ekasilapuri.

Tale about the ImamBeg Well:
Once ImamBeg questioned the priests If a devotee calls the God, will he speak? When they replied that he would surely speak if called with sincerity, then he called Rama three times. In return, the answer was "O" three times. He was very surprised. He became a devotee of Swami Rama. In 17th Century when devotees are facing water crisis, he constructed a well and since then it is named after him.

TEMPLE TIMINGS:
From Sunday to Saturday morning:5am to 9pm.

Presently the management of this temple has been handed over to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

It is one of the attractive and aesthetical place. Feel the presence of Sri Rama, have his blessings along with the nature and wonderful architecture of the temple which is a feast to your eyes.

Gandi Veeranjaneya Swami Temple in Andhra Pradesh

LORD VEERANJANEYA SWAMI

We have been to one of the Devotional places of lord Hanuma which is located in the Eastern ghats of India. This famous place is called GANDI.This temple is known as Abhayahasta Anjaneya Temple and is located on the banks of River Papaghni. In Telugu language Gandi means a narrow passage for the water to flow out. This place seems to be a narrow passage for the river to flow in between the hills of Eastern ghats. This place located in Kadapa district and is 34 km away from the Pulivendula town.

TEMPLE TIMINGS:
All days except Saturday
Morning 7AM to 1PM & 3PM to 7PM
Saturdays 7AM till 7PM

TEMPLE HISTORY:

The history of Kshetram dates back to the period of the Ramayana, Treta Yuga. According to the legend, the god Rama himself had drawn the picture of Hanuman on the rock with his arrow while resting at this place, and was receiving the hospitality of Vayu, the god of the wind and father of Hanuman. Rama completed the drawing of Hanuman except the little finger of Hanuman's left hand.

Later Vyasaraja sculpted an idol of Hanuman on the drawing and tried to sculpt the unfinished finger. However, it is said that finger broke and started bleeding, indicating Hanuman's wish for the drawing to be true to the drawing.

As per legend after Rama's victory over the demon king Ravana, Vayu decorated this place with festoon of golden flowers to welcome Rama on his way back towards North to Ayodhya. People believe that this festoon of golden flowers can be seen by those who are near to death.

At present the temple is being administered by ENDOMENTS DEPT AP. It is under being RENEUATED.

The place was very scenic and pleasant. It is a must visit place in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.
